  • What does it mean to be a Buckeye:

It’s a feeling. The nervousness and willingness to achieve excellence felt while rubbing a buckeye necklace. The uncontrollable need to pump your fist in excitement when you pass a driver on the highway displaying Buckeye pride. The indescribable feeling of warmth and joy when pressure builds in your chest upon approaching the last line to Carmen Ohio. These are my reactions to moments filled with the spirit of Ohio State. Being a buckeye means I know I share that same passion, that same feeling, with thousands of others across the nation, even the world, regardless of age, ethnicity, or background.
