What does it mean to be a Buckeye:
Tradition, spirit, community, and memories are the first words that come to mind when I think of what it means to be a Buckeye. I love belonging to a global family of Buckeyes who are proud of their academic, athletic, and research excellence that define The Ohio State University. This enthusiasm can be heard in the voices of those singing Carmen Ohio at Browning Amphitheater or cheering at the Shoe in the fall. A Buckeye builds memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. Wherever a Buckeye goes he or she will always “Pay it Forward” and remember the spirit that is Ohio State.
