  • What does it mean to be a Buckeye:

Being a Buckeye invokes thoughts of fierce school spirit, lasting friendships, an unceasing quest for knowledge, and a storied legacy of excellence and tradition. From the long walk on the Oval to singing Carmen Ohio, our traditions and shared history are the threads that unite our collegiate experience. But, being a Buckeye is also about opportunity. Whether the opportunity for an underprivileged student to attend college, “paying it forward” through service to the community, or taking part in ground-breaking research, being a Buckeye means contributing each day to writing the next great chapter at Ohio State.
