Office of Student Life : Creating the Extraordinary Student Experience

Homecoming Court

Court members are chosen based on their leadership qualities, spirit, integrity, and achievement through their contributions and involvement at Ohio State. The Court selection process begins with a paper application. Based on application scores and GPA, individual interviews are offered and conducted by OSU faculty, staff, and alumni. The scores from the paper application and interview are combined to determine the 2018 Homecoming Court members.  Court members then volunteer and serve as ambassadors during Welcome Week and Homecoming Week, and after a student body vote, the Homecoming Queen and King are announced at the Homecoming Game on October 6, 2018.

2018 Homecoming Court Applications are due March 1st.

  • What does it mean to be a Buckeye:

After graduating from a high school class of 52, being a Buckeye is more than just being a student at Ohio State, it is a characterization of home. It is the bond and the emotion that reminds us truly "how firm thy friendship", the support that we all share no matter our background, and the unending feeling of belonging. It is more than staying for Carmen after every football game, it is being a Buckeye for life, and remembering all that our university gave to us so that one day, we can give back to it.
