Office of Student Life : Creating the Extraordinary Student Experience

Homecoming Court

Court members are chosen based on their leadership qualities, spirit, integrity, and achievement through their contributions and involvement at Ohio State. The Court selection process begins with a paper application. Based on application scores and GPA, individual interviews are offered and conducted by OSU faculty, staff, and alumni. The scores from the paper application and interview are combined to determine the 2018 Homecoming Court members.  Court members then volunteer and serve as ambassadors during Welcome Week and Homecoming Week, and after a student body vote, the Homecoming Queen and King are announced at the Homecoming Game on October 6, 2018.

2018 Homecoming Court Applications are due March 1st.

  • What does it mean to be a Buckeye:

Being a Buckeye means having the distinct privilege to walk around campus and know that everyone here is profoundly special. Our differences and diverse backgrounds create a community where each individual can have their own Ohio State legacy. Together, we are a force of unprecedented talent, creativity, and energy that can be found all over the world. The memories and friendships cultivated at Ohio State are ones to be cherished for the rest our lives. Being a Buckeye means giving back to the university that gave us so much and spreading scarlet and gray fever forever.
