Residence Hall Decoration Registration 

Homecoming season is the perfect time for students and staff to display their Buckeye pride... and what better way to do that than with a decorating contest? The decorating contest encompasses both Residence Halls and University Department Offices in a challenge to see who can display the best Buckeye spirit! Both groups have to opportunity to sign up their Office or Residence Hall on this page starting closer to the 2022 Homecoming Parade for a chance to win either free lunch for their Office or a prize for their Residence Hall!  A designated theme will be given to each participant and scoring will take place on a number of different qualities. Judging will then take place the week leading up to the Homecoming Parade and winners will be announced shortly thereafter!

Registration is currently open and will close September 16th, 2022 at 5 pm

Once you have registered you will then receive an email providing more information on the theme and any other relevant details. 

Banner Making Contest Registration 

Interested in making a banner for your student organization and being a part of the Homecoming Parade? The 2022 Ohio State Homecoming theme is 100 Years In The Shoe, and the Office of Student Life invites you to celebrate the tradition. Making a banner is free and open to any group - supplies will be provided!

Banner-making will take place at two (2) distinct locations on campus:

 (1)   The Keith B. Key Center for Student Leadership and Service***,

 Date: September 16, 2022 from 2pm-7pm

  (2) the Ohio Stadium (Gates 31 & 33). 

 Dates: September 12-16 from 5pm-11pm

 ***Light refreshments will be provided. If your student organization is an office/locker tenant in the KBKCSLS, this should also be your preferred location.

Need Materials for the banners? Materials can be picked up as early as Monday, September 12th from the KBK Center or from the Ohio Stadium starting at 5pm.
