Technical Tuesday: Drinking from a Firehose: Strategies for Reading in Graduate and Professional School

Date: Tuesday, February 28, 2023, noon - 1 p.m.

Location: Interfaith Prayer & Reflection Room (Ohio Union 3rd Floor)

Cost: Free

Technical Tuesdays is a professional development workshop series focusing on the following core competencies: career development, communication, ethics, leadership and management, personal development, responsible conduct of research, and teaching.

Reading in graduate and professional school can be overwhelming, like drinking from a firehose. In this workshop from the Dennis Learning Center, you will learn how to stay on top of your reading list by reading smarter, not harder. We will share strategies for efficient reading, developing an organized system for note-taking, and making a weekly reading and writing schedule.

Presenter: Dennis Learning Center
