What does it mean to be a Buckeye:
Being a Buckeye is an honor and a privilege that is renowned across the globe. As an Indian-American student, being a Buckeye is the identity that has shaped me to become who I am. Being a Buckeye means singing Carmen while linking arms with your lifelong best friends, celebrating national championships, celebrating our incredible music program and band, raising millions of dollars for Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and working in a world-renowned medical facility just minutes. The environment and culture cultivated is constantly evolving to best suite each student in a productive way to ensure we are prepared to be leaders and advocates in any situation. As a Buckeye we continually grow professionally, academically and culturally. I have met incredible people from every walk of life, and have had the pleasure to be guided by incredible mentors. The friendships and memories with my friends and family while exploring what Ohio State holds for us as Buckeyes has been the best journey. I will forever be prideful to be a Buckeye and thankful that my parents chose to move to Columbus, Ohio.
