What does it mean to be a Buckeye:
As someone who has grown up in Columbus, being a Buckeye means being a part of a family, community and global network that will last throughout my life. Buckeye spirit is ceaseless; in the past I would feel it strongest when thousands would gather at the Shoe, or on the first warm day of spring when the Oval is filled with smiling faces. Now, I see it in the frontline workers at the Wexner Medical Center, or students determined to protect others by wearing a mask. Being a Buckeye, to me, is being the epitome of resilience and comradery.
