What does it mean to be a Buckeye?
To be a Buckeye means being part of a community that values leadership, diversity, service, and academic and research innovation to make an impact on the world. Buckeyes get access to various opportunities, student organizations, and amazing network of faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Buckeyes join the legacy and footsteps of those before them who make a positive impact in their communities and the world. Buckeyes are also from all over the world and cannot be characterized by one race, gender, or ethnicity, but all share the love for the university. Lastly, Buckeyes show not only pride and loyalty to the university, but also acknowledge complicated history and weaknesses to make Ohio State a more equitable environment for prospective students.
