What does it mean to be a Buckeye: In 1926, I proved being a Buckeye comes down to three things: Character, impact, and not letting a little mud get in the way of your big night. When Homecoming was in doubt, I stepped up. Whether I’m breaking world records in butterfat or riding my victory float, I’d like to think I represent the cornerstone of Ohio State. We’re a community that values real contributions over politics. Being a Buckeye is about leaving a legacy people still talk about a century later. It means you’re never just a face in the herd; you’re a legend in the milking, er, making.
