What does it mean to be a Buckeye:
To me, being a Buckeye means embodying the values and traditions upon which Ohio State was founded. It's about meeting every individual with compassion and celebrating the diverse perspectives that make our community whole. Beyond the classroom, it's a shared heartbeat- an electric pride found in our time-honored traditions. Whether singing Carmen Ohio or cheering in the Shoe, I am reminded that we are part of a living legacy. We are bound to the Buckeyes who came before us and those yet to arrive, forever connected by a scarlet and gray thread.
