Office of Student Life : Creating the Extraordinary Student Experience

Homecoming Court

Court members are chosen based on their leadership qualities, spirit, integrity, and achievement through their contributions and involvement at Ohio State. The Court selection process begins with a paper application. Based on application scores and GPA, individual interviews are offered and conducted by OSU faculty, staff, and alumni. The scores from the paper application and interview are combined to determine the 2018 Homecoming Court members.  Court members then volunteer and serve as ambassadors during Welcome Week and Homecoming Week, and after a student body vote, the Homecoming Queen and King are announced at the Homecoming Game on October 6, 2018.

2018 Homecoming Court Applications are due March 1st.

  • What does it mean to be a Buckeye:

Buckeyes are passionate, supportive, and service-oriented. When I joined this diverse community three years ago, the school spirit was palpable and campus quickly began to feel like home. Being surrounded by people who share a drive to do good in the world is nothing short of inspiring, and it pushes me to be my best self every day. It is an honor and privilege to be a Buckeye, a member of a family of individuals from all walks of life united by scarlet and gray.
