Office of Student Life : Creating the Extraordinary Student Experience

Homecoming Court

Court members are chosen based on their leadership qualities, spirit, integrity, and achievement through their contributions and involvement at Ohio State. The Court selection process begins with a paper application. Based on application scores and GPA, individual interviews are offered and conducted by OSU faculty, staff, and alumni. The scores from the paper application and interview are combined to determine the 2018 Homecoming Court members.  Court members then volunteer and serve as ambassadors during Welcome Week and Homecoming Week, and after a student body vote, the Homecoming Queen and King are announced at the Homecoming Game on October 6, 2018.

2018 Homecoming Court Applications are due March 1st.

  • What does it mean to be a Buckeye:

Life is the sum of our experiences and how we react to them, and being a Buckeye allows each of us to use our own experiences to impact the world around us by bringing positive change to the communities in which we serve. Being a Buckeye is a lifetime commitment and promise to finding a sense of belonging - both within ourselves and with others - through genuine friendship, transformative leadership, and education for citizenship. As Buckeyes, not only do we have the opportunity to follow our dreams, we also have the ability to make them come true.
