Office of Student Life : Creating the Extraordinary Student Experience

Homecoming Court

Court members are chosen based on their leadership qualities, spirit, integrity, and achievement through their contributions and involvement at Ohio State. The Court selection process begins with a paper application. Based on application scores and GPA, individual interviews are offered and conducted by OSU faculty, staff, and alumni. The scores from the paper application and interview are combined to determine the 2018 Homecoming Court members.  Court members then volunteer and serve as ambassadors during Welcome Week and Homecoming Week, and after a student body vote, the Homecoming Queen and King are announced at the Homecoming Game on October 6, 2018.

2018 Homecoming Court Applications are due March 1st.

  • What does it mean to be a Buckeye:

Being a Buckeye is grounded in the little moments you never saw coming. Being in the Union past midnight for the fourth night in a row surrounded by people that motivate and support you. Sitting on Oval Beach in double-decker hammocks when you should really be studying. Having friends fill you with warmth at your times of sadness, sickness, or stress. Standing side by side singing an impromptu Carmen or watching your hard work pay off. Being a Buckeye means the world to me, because being a Buckeye has given me everything I could have hoped for and more.
