Office of Student Life : Creating the Extraordinary Student Experience

Homecoming Court

Court members are chosen based on their leadership qualities, spirit, integrity, and achievement through their contributions and involvement at Ohio State. The Court selection process begins with a paper application. Based on application scores and GPA, individual interviews are offered and conducted by OSU faculty, staff, and alumni. The scores from the paper application and interview are combined to determine the 2018 Homecoming Court members.  Court members then volunteer and serve as ambassadors during Welcome Week and Homecoming Week, and after a student body vote, the Homecoming Queen and King are announced at the Homecoming Game on October 6, 2018.

2018 Homecoming Court Applications are due March 1st.

  • What does it mean to be a Buckeye:

To be a Buckeye means to be someone who is passionate about what I am studying, committed to the organizations that I am a part of, and excited to cheer for the sports teams Ohio State is known for. Being a Buckeye means taking advantage of the countless opportunities Ohio State has to offer, growing in my understanding of people and the world, and engaging in dialogue in the classroom and with friends on issues that impact our society. Being a Buckeye means creating experiences that begin to shape who we are as we take steps towards our futures!
